The Four Processes

Following our Free Analysis and Presentation, and our agreement to proceed with working with Your Business, we begin the Project. This has Four main Processes, detailed as follows.

Taking Stock

This is essentially an information gathering stage. We look at every aspect of Your Business so that we can have a full understanding of What it is that you do and How you do it. Our procedure involves working with all of your Key People with responsibility for each element of Your Business.

The main focuses will be on:

Cash Flow Analysis: Working with your accounting people, we produce reports to give us a very clear picture of the financial performance of Your Business.

Management Control: Who is Responsible for What? How is reporting structured and reported? How are reports acted on? How effective is your communication structure?

Workflow: What processes are in place to create Your Offering. Whether you provide a Product or Service, or indeed Both, Your Business Performance is determined by the activities which generate the cash. We look at these activities to identify where inefficiencies are reducing your margin, and therefore your Cash Flow.

Purchasing & Stock Control: This is an area that has great potential to consume your profits. Have you got an effective Stock Control System in place, and are you using it to its full potential?

Sales & Marketing: Looking at all areas of Your strategy, from Product Placement, Market Segmentation, through to Merchandising. Do you have a proper Marketing Plan? Does Your Business engage a Marketing Company? How has your Marketing Strategy performed to date? Do you have Sales Representatives? How are they Performing? This is a very complex area, and needs to be well defined in order to maximise Your ROI.

Credit/Debit Management: How do you manage your Debtors? Are you owed a significant proportion of your sales? Do you owe money to your suppliers? Have you an extended overdraft? All of these scenarios greatly affect Your Business.

In summary, Taking Stock is the first stage of the project where we identify the main causes of negative effect on your business and what is required to make positive change. Once complete, we can then work with You to determine every step required to ensure that the correct adjustments are made to Your Business so that any inefficiencies are removed and your people are fully onboard.

Develop Strategy

The second stage of the project is based on all of those necessary adjustments which have been identified during the Taking Stock stage. We will agree with you, what changes are necessary, setting new objectives for each department and activity within Your Business. Here, we develop How those changes are made and Who is responsible for each element of this Programme of Performance Improvements.

It is very important at this stage to determine the value of the changes to be made and how the effectiveness of the changes can be measured. All of the activities performed by you and your people MUST add value to your product or service.

Implementation

This is where things really begin to happen! Implementing major changes is the part of a project which is the most fun, but it has it's challenges. Having agreed how we are to proceed, Implementation begins with a meeting of all Key People to ensure that everyone in Your Business understands what is about to happen. Everyone must understand fully what their role is and how the proposed changes are going to affect them.

Working with You and your Key People, we set about making the required adjustments to Your Business, step by step, monitoring every change as it happens. Regular meetings are scheduled throughout the project to ensure that the desired benefits are returned from every change implemented. Our structured Interactive Approach ensures that every improvement adds value to your business in a measurable way.

Monitoring

Once the Implementation stage is complete, we schedule a series of meetings to perform internal and external reviews of the benefits of the Project.
