Managing Change Through A Downturn
There have been many changes to Business Models over the past 20 years since the last recession of the early 90’s. The wave of Outsourcing and Offshoring has helped companies to become Leaner, but less flexible, with a much greater degree of Interdependency. Risks are now spread across many borders so that a negative effect anywhere in the “chain” can have catastrophic results.
There are many new managers who have only experienced an expanding market, with assumptions that the environment of Low Interest Rates, Cheap Transport, and Increasing Consumer Demand will continue. The result is that most companies are left with Sub-optimal Business Plans, and need to reconsider their positions and develop strategies to deal with the changes in their operating environment.
*Note: If you keep doing what you’ve always done,
you’re only ever going to get what you’ve always got.
Let’s face it. This is the time for Action. No longer can any business simply baton down the hatches and hope the storm will pass overhead. For our businesses to be fit to deal with all economic circumstances, including recession, we need to be able to have a Business Model which allows us to react with the correct strategy to maximise the returns for our investments.
At Mentor Sales & Marketing, we have developed an approach which brings new thinking to all businesses, helping you to create your Action Plan. Our seminar on “Managing Change Through A Downturn” is designed to encourage you to step back and take a look at the big picture. Ask us about how our one day Workshops can benefit your business, enabling you to develop your New Business Model using a very structured and tailored process to realize the full potential of your business.
The following pages will give you an outline of the Mentor team members and the expertise available to your business followed by a brief description of the Seminar structure.
